I believe that businesses without vision die. Wow, that is harsh isn’t it? Are you part of a team that isn’t moving forward? Are you personally in the same boat? Are you having a hard time making progress in your business and or life? If you said yes to any of the above, vision may be the issue.

“The only thing worse than being blind is having sight but no vision.”

Helen Keller

So many people possess amazing talent, have all kinds of resources at their disposal and have plenty of opportunity, however, they cannot seem to go anywhere. Is that you? Without vision, we have no direction and then what is the purpose? How do we even know if we are on the right track?

If you want to get excited and inspired by your vision, try this: Share it with others! When you to share why you are passionate and dedicated to pursuing that vision, you can reach people on an emotional level and they too begin to buy into your vision. This is what we all want – others to buy into our vision as we cannot achieve amazing things on our own.

“Great vision precedes great achievement.”

John C Maxwell

What if you fail to go after your dreams?

Have you ever considered writing out a vision for what would happen if you failed to go after your dreams? Create and write these two different angles for your vision as it can help you when you feel lost, down or discouraged and want to quit. By having these two visions, you can read what would happen if you decide not to pursue your dreams and hopefully be inspired to keep moving forward.

I realize more and more the value of vision as it is what give me energy to keep moving and what helps me go beyond anything I ever thought was possible for my life. What I’ve noticed through having vision, is how it not only helps me, but it helps others as well create their own.

Go out and act on your vision! Show people what you are doing, don’t just tell them. By showing others what you believe, you create a strong mental picture and others will buy into your vision as well. People want to see us living what we desire for our lives and when the picture we are painting matching what we are doing, people buy into it.

Visions have the power to unite.

For years, I’ve had this vision of inspiring and empowering women through collaboration. I prefer to collaborate than compete when it comes to helping others. By sharing this vision, I am now part of something bigger in my community that I never thought would happen. That is the power of vision – it has the power to unite groups and organizations that may have never had the opportunity to work together.

Vision allows us to step into our leadership capability.

If there is one thing I know, it’s that we are all capable of leading. When we have a vision for the future, we lead our lives instead of allowing life to simply happen. Vision allows us to step into that leadership role and we begin to lead our lives. And when we lead our lives, we become inspired to create amazing things. We begin to realize amazing goals we never thought were possible for our lives and we link arms with other leaders to create change in the world around us.

Take time to think about your vision and how it is not only inspiring others but how it is energizing you to move towards becoming who you were created to be. And if you are really ready to make your vision a reality, let’s discuss how working together can help with that!
